QuickBooks Desktop - sort register by payee

Allow me to share some info about sorting register by payee, rjp21.

In QuickBooks Desktop, we're unable to arrange a register by payee. Though you can sort transactions by Date, Type, Number/Ref, Amount, Order Entered, Date and Order Entered and Cleared Status. 

Here's how:

1. From the Company menu, select Chart of Accounts.
2. Locate your account, then double click to open.
3. On the Sort by drop-down menu, select how you'd like to sort your register.

Thank you for the confirmation. It's always astounded me that QuickBooks has never offered this feature. (edit: especially when QuickBooks Online has it!)

I would use it A LOT if they did.
