Quickbooks setup

When I setup Quickbooks back in August 2023, it only uploaded transactions from our bank accounts back till June 1st 2023.  I selected for it to begin with January 1st, 2023.

How do I get the missing months uploaded into Quickbooks?

You can use MT Online or one of the converter tools (e.g csv2qbo @ $60 one time license) as a workaround.

I'll help you upload the missing transactions into QuickBooks (QBO), ThaiTownGreg.

The bank data you can upload to QBO depends on your financial institution. Some let you download only the last 90 days of transactions. Others can go back as far as 24 months. It may be the reason why you have missing entries. What you can do is import them manually using a CSV file. Here's how:

  1. Go to Transactions and choose Bank transactions.
  2. Click the dropdown arrow beside Link account in the upper right corner, then select Upload from file.
  3. Select Drag and drop or select files and click the file you downloaded from your bank. Hit Continue.
  4. In the QuickBooks account dropdown, select the account you want to upload the transactions. Then click Continue.
  5. Follow the onscreen steps to match the columns on the file with the correct fields in QuickBooks, then hit Continue.
  6. Select the transactions you would like to import and select Continue.
  7. Click Yes.
  8. When you accept your transactions, select Done.
