Buy nowWe have Quickbooks simple start for our LLC/dba. We get payments from people in person and in our online store through Square and all the money goes to Square bank account (Sutton banking).
I can't figure out how to link Square bank with Quickbooks so it will show in the "chart of accounts" as a main bank??
Did you figure out an answer yet? On the Bank Transactions page of QBO, sorta upper right corner, there is a Link Account button. You can use that to link Sutton Bank to QBO. There are ways to sync Square to QBO, but none of them ever worked for me, so I haven't tried again. I create sale receipts where I collect Square funds, then at the end of the day I click on New/Bank Deposit, choosing those receipts and then adding the Square fee down below. You will need to add an expense account called Square Fees if you don't have something like that already. When the Square deposit hits your bank account, you will be able to match it to QBO deposit.
Service is right, Nicole3211. We can connect the Square bank account (Sutton banking) in the Link Account button under the Banking Transactions tab.
Once you connect it, you need to categorize them under the For Review tab, and they will appear in the Chart of Accounts.
Here's how:
If you mean connecting the Square application, we need to link it in the My Integration tab. Refer to this page for guidance: Connect your Square account to QuickBooks Online.
I'm ready to assist you further if you have any more questions about this process.
