QuickBooks does not link all my bank transactions. Does anybody have the same issue?
Let's fix the update issue on the Banking page and ensure you'll be able to download the transactions, vanvo. I'll guide you through the process below.
Before we begin, I'd like to verify your bank's name and inquire if you encounter errors while reviewing your transactions. Any additional information will be much appreciated for us to offer the appropriate resolution.
You can start troubleshooting by manually updating your account to bring in transactions and refresh the connection between your bank and the program. Here's how:
After that, sign in to your bank's website to check your account page for messages or alerts that need your attention. Once you make changes on the website (for example, login credentials and account info), update QuickBooks as well. Here's how:
If you encounter errors or any issues while downloading your transactions, check out this article to guide you on how to fix them: What to do if you get a bank error or can't download transactions in QuickBooks Online.
If this matter continues, you can download your missing transactions manually from your bank's website and import them into QuickBooks.
Once the connection is fixed, your most recent transactions will download. Ensure to categorize and match them to maintain the accuracy of your financial data.
I'll keep this thread open so you can comment on any additional bank connection concerns or questions about managing transactions in QBO. I'm always ready to help you out.
Thank you so much for your guide. I am using Chase bank and have errors while updating the bank transactions. I followed your steps but the transactions are not going through still. It only connects the credit card payment and the some kind of expense like Intuit subscription. I notice that it does not connect the expenses we paid to our oversee vendors (like Alibaba or Musuvi from Japan, etc.). I wonder if it is the reason. Do you have any thought on this? Please advise. Thank you.
Thanks for following up on this thread, vanvo.
I want to make sure you're able to view the bank transactions in your QuickBooks Online account.
Since the troubleshooting steps mentioned above didn't do the trick, I recommend reaching out to a member of the QuickBooks Online Support Team. Agents have specialized tools, like the ability to share your screen, to take a more in depth look at what's causing this issue with the banking page. Here's how to get in touch with the team:
1. Click the Help (?) button.
2. Select either tab to get started:
- Assistant: Get quick, personalized answers. Select a suggested option, or type a question or topic you need help with. If you decide you need further help, you can still Talk to a human.
- Search: Search the QuickBooks Online knowledge base directly, or select Contact Us and choose a way to connect with us:
a. Start a chat with a support expert.
b. Get a callback from the next available expert.
