Deposit not showing n ledger account

Thanks for visiting the Community. I’m here to help make sure you can find the missing deposit in your bank account.

The filter set in your register can affect how transactions are shown on the account. Let’s configure it to find the missing deposit.

Here’s how:

1. Navigate to the Accounting menu on the left panel to choose Chart of Accounts.
2. From the list, look for the bank you’re working on.
3. Press the View register link under the Action column to see the list of transactions.
4. Click the Funnel icon above the Date header.
5. This will open a window that will allow you to change the setup.
6. Change the Transaction Type to Deposit.
7. Choose All date from the Dates drop-down.
8. Once done, click Apply for the changes to take effect.

If you’re unable to see the deposit, open another register and perform the same steps to find it. The transaction may be recorded on a different account.

Alternatively, run the Deposit Detail Report and customize it. I’ll show the steps on how to build it.

1. Go to Reports on the left panel and enter Deposit Detail in the search field.
2. Click Report period drop-down and set the correct date range.
3. Press the Customize button to open the Customize report window.
4. From there, select the items you wish to see on the report.
5. Then, tap the Run report button.
