Does Quickbooks Online Advanced have Reclassify Transactions tool? And if yes, why I don't see it in my tools?

Yes, QuickBooks Online Advanced has the Reclassify transactions tool, Ruzanna. I can think of one reason why you're unable to see it in your Tools, and I'll discuss the details below.

Only the account administrators (Primary and Company admins) can access the Reclassify transactions tool. If your role isn't any of those, you're unable to access the said feature. However, if you're an administrator and still can't utilize the tool, I'd recommend asking other admins to remove you and then add you back to the QBO company to update your permission.

Once everything is all set, log in to your QBO account and go to Settings or the Gear icon to utilize the Reclassify transactions tool.

For more details on using the reclassify transactions tool to batch edit transactions in QBO, please see this article: Reclassify or move multiple transactions in QuickBooks Online Accountant and Advanced.

Moreover, you can create rules to automatically categorize downloaded bank transactions and help speed up your review process. If you wish to know more about this process, check out this article: Set up bank rules to categorize online banking transactions in QuickBooks Online.

You did nothing wrong, @agapecer. But we can take a few steps together to troubleshoot to recover the Reclassify Transactions feature in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

Since you’ve confirmed that you’re the sole user and admin of your QuickBooks company, then we can just go over through using your browser's private or incognito window to determine if a webpage issue is causing the tool not to show up in the Gear icon. Depending on your browser type, you can use the following shortcuts:

  • Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge: Ctrl+ Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Command + Option + P

If the tool appears or displays in the private mode, please return to your regular browser and clear the cache for a fresh start. Switching to other supported browsers could also be worth a shot.

You can also check out this article to review your downloaded bank and credit card negotiations: Categorize online bank transactions in QuickBooks Online.

Moreover, QBO offers comprehensive reports  to view helpful insights about your company.
