Hello, I am new and trying to connect my navy federal business account. There is no option.

I can help you with adding your bank account in QuickBooks Self-Employed, @livebythebeachnc.

If you can't find your Navy Federal Business account, it could be that your bank has multiple names on our list, the bank does not connect to all types of accounts, or it's not a participating financial institution.

Try using your bank's URL into the search. For example, search for "hsbc.com." for HSBC.

If your bank doesn’t appear, then your bank isn't supported yet. You can send us a request to support your bank. That still depends on the number of requests and the approval of the bank itself.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Gear icon ⚙ and then Bank accountsbank accounts QBSE.JPG
  2. Type your bank into the search box and then select Request to add your bank.request support qbse.JPG
  3. Enter the bank name, bank URL, and your email address.
  4. Select Request support for your bank.

In the meantime, you can manually add those bank transactions manually or download the transactions from the bank. Then, upload the file to your account.

To manually add transactions:

  1. Go to the Transactions menu and click on the Add transaction button.
  2. Provide all the necessary information like the date, transaction description, amount, type, category, notes, and receipt.
  3. Click on Save.

Here's more information on how to manually add transactions in QuickBooks Self-Employed. Also, the following article will guide you on how to categorize transactions in QuickBooks Self-Employed.

To import a CSV file to your account:

Download bank transactions:

  1. Go to your online banking account to get your file.
  2. Check or follow your bank’s instructions to get a copy of the data and then save it on your computer.
  3. Ensure that the data range is at least one day before your oldest transaction to avoid duplicates.
  4. Please take note of the supported file format and size. It should be either a Comma-Separated Values (CSV) or a QuickBooks Online (QBO) file.
  5. Download your transactions and save the file to your desktop.

To upload the file to your QBSE account:

  1. Go to the Gear icon ⚙ and select Imports.imports QBSE.JPG
  2. Select Import older transactions.imports qbse 2.JPG
  3. Follow the onscreen steps to upload the CSV file.
  4. Click Import.

Hello, I am new and trying to connect my navy federal business account. There is no option.

You misunderstand. Navy Federal is supported, however, their business accounts are a sub account within the personal account, and do not appear when linking. Perhaps there is a way to link an account by account number instead of the standard login procedure? While manually entering data is possible, it is extremely time consuming, and very annoying considering the bank itself is supported, you just cannot find your business account when linking it, as it is not an option to switch internal profiles/accounts through the linking process.
