Thanks for reaching out to the Community about your concern, sroznova.
Let's reconnect the account so you can fetch new transactions and properly track them in QBSE. Before performing any troubleshooting, allow me to provide some information on why your bank keeps disconnecting in QBSE.
Unsupported bank account type, on-going connectivity issues, bank updates, and maintenance schedules can cause odd behaviors for connected bank or credit card accounts. You can consider checking with your financial institution to see if they’re going through any updates. Also, if you encounter any error codes/messages, let us know so we can check if there’s a reported issue.
To connect an account:
- Go to the Gear icon at the top to choose Bank accounts under Transactions.
- Click the Connect another account menu to open the Connect another bank or credit card window.
- Then, enter the name of the financial institution or the bank's URL in the Enter your bank name or URL field box.
- From there list, click on the name of the account you’re working on.
- Look for the name of the financial institution from the list.
- This will take you to the Sign in to your bank screen.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process.
For transactions that were not tracked in QBSE, manually add them via CSV file to ensure your bank data is up to date. For the step by step process, see the Manually import transactions into QuickBooks Self-Employed article.
Let me also share the Add older transactions to QuickBooks Self-Employed guide. It outlines the complete instructions on how to bring older transactions into the program as well as steps to review and categorize them.
Keep me posted if you need assistance connecting the account in QBSE. I’m more than happy to help and get this taken care of for you. Have a good one.
