Thanks for getting back with the Community, Pavel_P.

You may need to adjust some of your filters on the Transaction List by Customer report to get it to show non-bank accounts that utilize foreign currencies.

Here's how:

  1. Run your Transaction List by Customer report.
  2. Click Customize.
  3. Expand your Filter ▼ section and turn on the appropriate filter(s).
  4. Select Run report.

You can also use your Gear (⚙️) icon mentioned in ReymondO's post to select other columns in the Change columns area.

In regard to a list of all exchange rates that QuickBooks uses with multicurrency, you can review IHS Markit's website. Intuit downloads and utilizes rates from them.

Since you're finding that some the currencies you work with aren't supported by QuickBooks, you can try using your own exchange rates for foreign currency transactions:

  1. Use the + New button, then choose which transaction you want to enter.
  2. From your ▼ drop-down list, pick the appropriate customer or vendor.
  3. In your Rate field, enter the exchange rate.
  4. Specify any other transaction details.
  5. Select Save.

I've also included a couple detailed resources about working with exchange rates which may come in handy moving forward:

If there's any additional questions, I'm just a post away. Have a lovely day!

I know how important it is to keep track of the exchange rates used in QuickBooks, Pavel_P. I'm here to help you out.

QuickBooks Online uses the most recent exchange rates from IHS Markit. They are stored based on a combination of currency code and the rate’s effective date (as-of date).

To get your exchange rates used in 2021, I'd suggest running and customizing the  Transactions Detail by Account report. Here's how:

  1. Go to Reports, then search for Transactions Detail by Account in the Search box. Click the result.
  2. Click the Customize button.
  3. On the Report period, select Last Year.
  4. Expand the Rows/Columns section, then click the Change columns link.
  5. Place a checkmark beside the Exchange rate box.
  6. You can also add the Currency column.
  7. Once done, click Run report.

This isn't limited to Transactions Detail by Account. You can also pull up something similar like the Transaction List by Customer or Vendor report.

Additionally, I've included an article that'll help save the current customized settings of the report. This helps you easily access them in the future: Memorize Reports in QuickBooks Online

Do you have other data you'd like to see in QuickBooks? Let me know, and I'll show you how to view them, Pavel_P. Keep safe always!

Thank you  CharleneMae_F for your fast reply.

I saw the article you mentioned. Sitll I have EUR, USD, and PLN accounts at QBO. But I have transactions in many other currencies. So I need exchange rates from QBO for those currencies. When I use the instructions stated in your reply I get only x-rates for EUR, PLN. But I need all x-rates for all currencies supported by QBO. I can't find an option to download historic data. Is there such an option?

Hi there, @Pavel_P.

Let me join in this conversation and help you accomplish your task in QuickBooks Online.

You can run the Transaction List by Customer report in QuickBooks. Then, customize its display settings with exchange rates. This way, you'll be able to see the x-rates for all currencies.

Let me show you how:

  1. Go to the Reports menu and open the Transaction List by Customer report.
  2. Click the small gear icon, then check the Exchange Rate box.
  3. Make sure to properly filter the Report period. You can also select All Dates to view all the transactions you've created inside QuickBooks.
  4. Select Run report

If you wish to download the report, simply Print or Export it. Just click the Print or Export icon.

Thank you ReymondO for your soon reply.

Still the issue is opened for me. I perfromed all the actions stated in your reply. I downloaded the report. But I can see only currencies of my bank accounts. Still I have transactions in other currencies rather than bank account, which are uploaded into QBO in USD. So I want to know what x-rate would be used by QBO for that transactions. I want to download all x-rates availablces at QBO. I can't find an option to download those x-rates.

If you know it can be done, I would highly appreciate your help.

Anyway thank you for your support and take care.

Thank you ZackE for such a great and detailed response. I was surprised by your detalsation.

I've managed to get the report you showed in your reply. Still I did not find the information I need.

I have found all exchange rates used by the system for all transaction in foreign currency in our company. Still we have transactions in foreigh currencies which are uploaded into QBO in USD at different x-rates. So I wanted to know waht x-rate QBO would use for these transactions.

Anyway thank everyone for your support and replies.
