How can I get quickbooks to stop advertising their banking products to me on my business banking tab?

I’ll provide details about handling advertisement messages on your Banking tab in QuickBooks Online, @stheck. This way, you'll be able to manage your work effectively.

The pop-up notifications are intended to help you improve your QuickBooks experience by suggesting and guiding you. I understand that the advertisements may interfere with your navigation. However, disabling them is currently unavailable.

You can disregard them by clicking the X icon or the No, thanks! button. QBO will then remember your selection. Thus, the pop-up will not appear again.

If you’re referring to marketing advertisements that pop-up and other forms of ads on Chrome, you can read this reference for a more detailed instruction. This includes relevant resources for blocking certain advertisements.

Another option is to turn on your browser's pop-up blocker. This prevents pop-ups from showing up. I'll show you how:

For Google Chrome or Mozilla Browser:

1. On the left side of the address bar, click the lock icon.
2. Select Site settings (Google Chrome) or Permission for this site (Mozilla browser).
3. Select Block from the drop-down menu under the Pop-ups and redirects section.

For Safari:

1. Launch your Safari browser.
2. Click Safari, then Preferences.
3. At the top, click on Websites.
4. On the left sidebar, click Pop-up Windows.
5. In the pop-up menu for the website, choose Block.
