How do I record a deposit from payments I took and applied manually.

Hello there, @higgins4889. I'm here to help you record the deposit from your payments in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

 

You can create a bank deposit transaction to link the payments to the deposit.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Go to +New and select Bank deposit.
  2. Choose the account where you want to deposit the money from the Account dropdown.
  3. Check the box for each transaction you want to include in the deposit.
  4. Ensure that the total of the selected transactions matches the total deposit amount.
  5. Click Save and Close.BankDeposit.png
