I can help you connect your account in QuickBooks Online, userrandal-avey.

QBO offers two ways of setting up a new bank account. You can either use the direct bank feed connection or manually add it to the system.

Option 1: Direct feed connection

  1. Go to the Banking tab and click on the Add account or Link account.
  2. Type in the name of your bank and follow the prompts.

Option 2: Manually add a bank account

  1. Go to the Accounting tab and select Chart of Accounts.
  2. Click on New.
  3. Enter the account particulars.
  4. Once done, click on Save and close.

You can check this article for more details: Connect bank and credit card accounts to QuickBooks Online.

Please let me know if you have any additional banking concerns. I'm always here to help.

Didn't work.  I need to speak to someone at QuickBooks.  I called my bank and they said it was an issue that Quickbooks needed to solve.  Wish I could talk to a human being!

Hi there, @userrandal-avey.

Thanks for getting back to this thread and following the steps provided above.

Can you share with me what bank are you trying to connect with QuickBooks? This way, we can perform some tests using our sample account and check why you're unable to click the button.

Since you've already reached out to your bank, let's follow their recommendation and get in touch with our phone support. They have the available tools that will help you in checking the connection with your bank.

Here's how:

Option 1

  1. Click the Help icon.
  2. Hit the Contact Us button at the bottom.
  3. Enter your concern in the description, then click Let's talk or Continue.
  4. Select Get a callback.

Option 2

  1. Click the Help menu in the upper-right hand corner.
  2. Type in "Talk to a human", then press Enter.
  3. Look for I still need a human and click on it.
  4. Click Contact Us.
  5. Select between Send a messageSchedule an appointment, or Get a callback.

In the meantime, let's import your bank transactions using a CSV file.

Once your transactions are in QuickBooks, it's time to match and categorize them. They will go into your accounts after you review them.

Just tag my name in the comment section if you have any other concerns or questions. I'll get back to you as soon as I can. Stay safe.
