I’ll help point you in the right direction about merging accounts in QBO. We’ll have to disconnect the connected checking account and then merge the other one.
When merging accounts, the process is permanent and you’ll no longer be able to undo it. Let’s make sure that you’ll disconnect the correct account so you can easily reconnect it.
To unlink:
Here’s an article that provides detailed information on what happens when you unlink the account to the bank feeds: Disconnect or delete accounts connected to online banking.
Next, you can start merging the accounts. Follow the step by step procedure in this article. Proceed directly to the Merge duplicate accounts section: Merge duplicate accounts, customers, and vendors in QuickBooks Online.
I’m also adding some articles for additional resources. These guides outline the complete instructions on how to link an account to the bank feeds and steps to classify downloaded data.
Feel free to leave a comment below if you need help when working in QBO. I’ll be happy to assist further. Enjoy the rest of the day.
Worked like a charm, Rasa-LilaM! Thank you so much.
