There could be a few reasons why your bank account in QuickBooks Online (QBO) isn’t loading or updating even after refreshing. I’ll walk you through some possibilities.
First, can you let me know the name of the specific bank account that’s not loading in your bank feeds? That’ll help me figure out what’s going on.
In the meantime, you might want to check if your bank’s server is down or if they’re doing any scheduled maintenance. Sometimes they post updates or alerts on their website about this.
If everything looks good on your bank’s end, the connection between QBO and your bank might have just broken and needs to be reset.
Here’s how you can disconnect and reconnect your account:
- Go to the Accounting menu on the left pane and select Bank transactions.
- Find the bank account that’s not updating and click the Pencil icon.
- Check the box for Disconnect this account on save, There's a prompt that will pop up; just click Yes. Then hit Save.

- After that, click Link account on the Banking page, search for your bank, and reconnect it.
