My accounts are already connected to my bank but I can't reconcile them. It keeps asking me to connect the accounts.

You can manually update your bank connection to refresh and reload its configuration with QuickBooks Online (QBO), studio. I know how to do this. Let me assist you.


At times, the bank connection in QBO may take some time to load or sync transactions due to any browsing issue. To update the data manually, you can perform a manual bank update. Here's a step-by-step guide on how to do it:
 

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks.
  2. From the left panel, click Transactions and hit Bank Transactions.
  3. After that, select Update.

You may also try using a different supported browser or open a private or incognito window to prevent interference from accumulated temporary internet files. Here are some keyboard shortcuts to open a private window in different browsers:
 

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Command + Option + P

 

It's also advisable to check your bank or credit card's website for any notifications or messages about potential issues on their end. Reviewing your account pages, transactions, and account history on their website can help identify any connection problems.
