Payments not showing when trying to match

I have 2 credit card payments that I have recorded when they were taken as received payments and credited un-deposited funds. 2 days later, the banking deposits for those 2 credit card transactions show up when I update my banking transactions. I went to match them up and the credit card payments are not showing up as an option. They have not been matched up to any other transactions. They do show up as an option to match for other banking deposits.  I cleared my cache, used 3 different browsers and 2 different computers. Same Issue. Any other suggestions?

Payments not showing when trying to match

Thank you for contacting us, BlueCouch.

I appreciate you performing the recommended steps to get the credit card payments to match with the received payments posted on the Undeposited funds account.

You should be able to match them. The screenshots below will visualize how QuickBooks finds the payments.

I suggest going through the Receive Payment page, then deposit them to the actual bank. Doing this will record those transactions to your register.

Let me show you how:

  1. Go to Sales from the left navigation bar, then select Customers.
  2. Click the name of the customer who owns the invoice.
  3. Locate the payment, then open it.
  4. Enter the desired account where you want to post the payment in the Deposit to field.

  5. Click Save and close.

After that, let's exclude the credit card payments so they won't keep showing up on the bank feeds. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Banking menu.
  2. Mark those payments.
  3. Click Batch actions, then select Exclude Selected.

On the other hand, I recommend contacting our QuickBooks Online Technical Team. They can investigate further what's causing the payments received not matching with the deposits on the bank feeds.
