Join nowI have two Intuit IDs (one for payroll and one for everything else). American Express recently made system updates to their connection to Intuit's Quickbooks software. To resume .QBO downloads, I need to complete a Quickbooks account deactivation and reactivation. I deactivated my two AmEx credit card accounts, but when I try to set them up again, I'm only given the option to login with my Intuit Payroll ID--can't change the user ID. When I log in with Payroll ID, get an error message "The App you are looking for is not found, please check the locale or App name" Any help with this issue would be appreciated.
Thanks for reaching out to us, @Ann1222.
Let's try creating a dummy company file first and connect your bank from there. This helps us identify if being unable to reactivate your bank is caused by company, software or data integrity issue.
If you're able to connect you bank in that company file, let's go back to the original one and deactivate and reactivate your online banking.
Steps on how to disable the bank feeds:
Next, reactivate your account to refresh the connection from your Financial Institution to QuickBooks.

Thanks for your reply. I set up a dummy company file and got the same error when trying to connect to the bank feed. I discovered I can do the manual web connect by importing my qbo file so the problem is solved.
Thanks for trying my recommendation and giving me the updates, @Ann1222.
I'm glad to know the problem is now solved. Please know that I'm always here to help you more. Meanwhile, I'm adding some more references about QuickBooks. It provides the current helpline links, updates, and video tutorials.
