I appreciate you informing us of the steps you've taken to reauthorize your banking connection, kimi-aecrecruiti.
Let's disconnect and reconnect your account so you can use the bank feeds seamlessly. I'm here to make the process as easy as possible for you.
Before we begin, update your account to refresh the connection. Then, go through all of the transactions that QuickBooks has already downloaded from your bank. By doing this, you can avoid having these experiences:
- Transactions listed in the For review tab will be lost once you disconnect your bank. Review them before disconnecting by adding or excluding them in QuickBooks.
- You can avoid downloading duplicate transactions when you reconnect the account. Make sure you take note of the last transaction date. QuickBooks will ask you to pick a date to start downloading and tracking transactions.
When you're ready, take the steps outlined below to disconnect your Financial Institution (FI) from QuickBooks Online (QBO). Here's how it's done:
- Navigate to the Bookkeeping, Transactions, or Banking menu on the left panel of your company and select Banking.
- This action will display a list of accounts that are linked to the bank feeds.
- Click the pencil icon✎ and tap the Edit account info button to open the Account window.
- Scroll down to the Connected to section and tick the Disconnect this account on save box.
- Tap the Save and close button to keep the changes.
After you've completed these steps, connect your FI to the online program. Then download your transactions and categorize them to keep your account organized.
You can read the article Reconnect your bank account in QuickBooks Online for more information on the process. It includes video tutorials to assist you visually. This reference is from another region, but it also applies to the US version.
