This happened long ago enough that I've gotten it resolved and can't quite remember how.
I have the same issue...I have tried everything and nothing corrects it.
Wasted hours on the phone also and the reply is always utilities because they have no clue.
There is something wrong that a programmer needs to fix and you would think it would be done by now. I keep up on all updates hoping a patch has been issued but nothing.
The customer service help doesn't understand the problem at all.
In the past this worked for us to fix it. Go to File > Verify Data (Report will show what is causing the issue) > Rebuild Data. That should clear it up
Rebuild works for QuickBooks Desktop, but QuickBooks Online doesn't have the option - or any way for a user to fix issues like this.
