Register: Is there a setting to keep the "splits" window open all the time?

I would like to have the "splits" window open whenever I select a transaction (in order to view the split, amount, memo, job & class). It is very frustrating to have to open it each time I want to look at or amend/add a transaction.

 

I am currently using QB for Mac 2014

Providing the best experience with the product is what we aim for, fullvnrg.

 

The option to keep the splits window open all the time is unavailable in QuickBooks Desktop for Mac. You'll need to manually open them in the Windows menu.

 

I can see the importance of keeping the windows open for you t add, view or amend the transactions. I'll personally share your feedback with our engineers regarding this one.
