Buy nowhow long does it take quickbooks to set up my bank account after i sent in request support for your bank?
Thanks for joining the Community, markg6.
When you request support for a bank, Intuit is unable to provide any timeframes since it's a request. At the same time, I can guarantee you that your request will be reviewed and considered in future updates.
For the time being, you can manually upload transactions.
Here's how:
Next, you'll want to review its formatting and size. You can upload CSV files with either 3-column or 4-column formatting. These are the only columns QuickBooks can handle, in this exact order.
Here's an image showing both column formats:
As for your file's size, the maximum size QuickBooks can handle is 350 KB. If your file's too big, try shortening its date range and download transactions in smaller batches.
Once you've confirmed its formatting and size is compatible with QuickBooks, you can upload the file.
I've also included a detailed resource about requesting support for financial institutions which may come in handy moving forward: Find your bank or credit card account when connecting to online banking
If there's any additional questions, I'm just a post away. Have an awesome day!
thank you for the reply ZackE. i should have mentioned that my bank has two online banking for their customers. one has the user name and password and the business one has company id, user name and password. this is the one that i am unable to connect to. does having one link to a bank help in getting it sooner than when they do the updates?
Allow me to chime in and provide additional information, markg6.
I understand how important it is for you to link your bank to QuickBooks Online. We're unable to give any updates at this time since adding your financial institution can take some time.
Can you share the name of your bank? So we can update this post once it has been added to the list of supported banks. In the meantime, I recommend manually uploading through CSV file by following the steps provided by my colleague above.
Alternatively, you might look for any application developed by a third party that enables you to import any bank or credit card transaction. Click to the Apps menu to find one that meets your needs.
I've also included the following resource to help you review your uploaded bank or credit card transactions: Categorize and match online bank transactions in QuickBooks Online.
You're welcome to post again if you need further assistance about banking. We're always available to help you.
Use MT Online or one of the converter tools (e.g csv2qbo) as a workaround for the time being.

Good afternoon Giovann_G
Thank you for the feedback. i did manually upload a quick history screen to see what it would look like.
TBA Credit Union is who i am dealing with. Will a programmer reach out to me if they have questions of setting up this new bank support, or do they call the credit union? or do they just figure out the required info and just add it to the list of supported banks?
Do i need to do anything else?
thanks
Thanks for getting back to the thread, markg6. I'll share some information that could ease up your questions.
We are currently unable to provide a timeframe for when this will be implemented. Rest assured that Intuit is working hard to ensure QuickBooks Online continues to provide great service. We intend to finish the compatibility certification process as soon as possible. It may take some time as our engineers ensure that there will be no problems in the long run.
