Hello there, @kh73
I have some information to help you clear outstanding transactions in QuickBooks Online.
Since you've already reconciled the outstanding transactions, you can create a journal entry to clear these entries from your book. With this, I recommend contacting an accountant for further guidance. If you don't have one, visit this page: Find a QuickBooks ProAdvisor.
Here's how to create a journal entry:
- On the left pane, select + New.
- Choose the Journal entry under Others.
- Select an account in the Account field on the first line.
- Enter the amount in the correct column, depending on if you need to debit or credit the account.
- On the following line, choose the other account you're moving the money in or out.
- Enter the amount in the opposite column, depending on if you entered debit or credit on the first line.
- Ensure to have an equal amount from your Credit and Debit column from the two lines mentioned.
- In the Memo section, add details about the reason for journal entry creation.
- Once done, click on Save and new or Save and close.
On the other hand, consider checking these resources to learn more about reviewing accounts to ensure they match your statements and how to prevent changes from past transactions:
