Buy nowHello,
As stated above. If the transaction has already been accepted, why is it listed in For Review, and why is it showing a suggested action of Add? Also, I don't recall having processed these transactions yet.
Thanks in advance for your guidance.
Hello, czissman.
I'll lend a hand and help you take care of the error message, then deal with the bank feed entry in QuickBooks.
The "accepted" error message is caused by an entry that was already added but still appears under the For review tab. That particular transaction is likely a duplicate.
Duplicates happen for several reasons such as a connection issue, the bank synced twice automatically, or multiple feed updates.
You mentioned that you don't recall processing these transactions. Looking at your screenshot, I see you have an active rule.
It does look like the rule has already matched or added the bank entry (processed automatically), but a duplicate appeared on the feed.
To fix this, we'll want to review the Categorized tab, then look for the added or matched entry (within March 15).
If the rule has already added or matched the entry (indicated by the Auto-add tag under the Rule column), then we'll want to exclude the duplicate entry.
To exclude, go back to the For review tab, then check the entry. Click on the Exclude button to remove it.
If there are no added or matched transactions for that bank feed entry, then we'll want to disregard the message. At this point, we have two options.
We can either add the entry directly to the books or create a transaction and match it with the bank feed transaction.
Although, we still need to confirm if the transaction is not yet recorded.
After taking care of your bank entries, do you also need help reconciling your accounts? I'll add this article if you need help in the future: Reconcile an account in QuickBooks Online.
