Allow me to assist you with the TD Bank transactions, @jackjjf.
Please know that the details being imported are based on what the bank provided. QuickBooks Online doesn't have control over these data.
If your account is connected to QuickBooks Online, let's do a manual update, by clicking the Update button on the Banking page. It refreshes the connections between the bank's website and QuickBooks. This way, it will show the data you need.
Here's how:
In addition to the troubleshooting posted above, you'll want to check the bank itself. This behavior could also be due to their system issue.
Then, you can now categorize your transactions by matching and adding them to avoid duplicates. Once done, reconcile your accounts so they always match your bank and credit card statements to avoid discrepancies.
That should get you back on track. Feel free to comment below if you have additional questions about your bank data in QuickBooks. I'll be around to help you again.
Unfortunately your standard answer does not help. The issue is not with the import, it’s with how you’re parsing the data received from the bank. The field has the details in it but your only grabbing about the first 15 characters. Your Mac desktop product handles the import correctly from the same bank. How do I get in touch with tech support to resolve this issue with the online product?
Hi @jackjjf, I'll share insights about bank transactions.
The online transactions downloaded from your bank normally recognize 41 characters of the payee name as one of its fields. Use this article to read and learn more: Character Limitations for Fields in QuickBooks.
You may need to adjust the Payee column to display all the characters of the name by hovering and moving the mouse pointer on the said column. If it still didn't work, I recommend contacting our Customer Care Support. One of our specialists has the tool to pull up your account letting our engineering team investigate why the payee name of your transactions is incorrect. To do so:

I have spoken to someone twice now and they keep brushing it off as a bank problem. This last call provided a feedback link for suggestions which I just submitted, but it’s not a suggestion it’s a problem that need to be addressed! How can we get in touch with technical support for the bank feeds to get this addressed?
NOTE : I just switched to online from QB Mac version and the Mac version handled the bank feed correctly. As a side note Intuit Quicken also handles the bank feed correctly.
I would be glad to work with your support to address and correct this.
