Buy nowQB Desktop 2022. Brand new. Import .QBO files using conversion program by ProperSoft. Everything went smoothly from the Bank Feed menu. Over 2200 transactions. Great! Gone were the old days of constant problems trying to get the bank feeds to work. This time I simply downloaded the csv files and converted. What could possible go wrong?
So I closed QB, as I was not ready to tackly 2200 transactions just yet. Reopened, went to bank feeds and there are NO transactions. Nothing. Just the column headings. Well, maybe I will try to once again import the QBO files. Nothing! Just a friendly message that there are no new transactions available, and a link to solve the problem. The link takes me nowhere.
Now, what do I do?
QB has been having issues with bank feeds for almost two decades. And nothing ever improves.
I would pay $10 monthly extra fee just to have hot line to solve these problems. This is disgraceful!
Hi there, BDK1.
Thank you for visiting the QuickBooks Community. Let me discuss troubleshooting information to ensure you can download the CSV files and convert them without any issues.
There are times when your QuickBooks Desktop has data damage, it may cause a transaction doesn't appear when importing the QBO files. I suggest running the Verify and Rebuild Data Utilities to get this sorted out. The Verify Data utility identifies any potential data damage issues that might've generated some unexpected behavior. While the Rebuild Data utility repairs damaged data in your company file. Before this, you'll have to secure a backup copy of your company file.
To Verify data:
To Rebuild Data:
For further details, you can refer to this article: Verify and Rebuild Data in QuickBooks Desktop.
Lastly, you may refer to this article to view the two ways how to download transactions and how to use them in QBDT: Download bank feed transactions in QuickBooks Desktop.
Keep me posted if there's anything that I can help with importing bank entries in QBDT. I'm always here to help. Have a good one!
None of those Verify and Rebuild instructions worked. After Rebuild, the report was zero issues found. On the bank feed screen, it lists in red 2676 transactions pending for review. But there are no transactions in the table. Only the column headings. See the screen shot. Please advise. This is such a waste of my time dealing with this.
And when I tried to again load the files, I was informed that there were no new transactions available.
This must have happened before. Please tell me that these is a solution other than deleting the company. Otherwise, I am back to doing this by hand.
I followed the Verify and Rebuild. And the report was that there were no problems. Yet I still could see the transactions.
I thought I would try to old standby. Close the QBDT program, not just the company file. And closing QBDT and reopening worked.
