Was "For Review" matching changed or is there a setting I'm missing? It used to find the best match, put a green bar "1 Record Found". Now I have to click "Find Match".

Couple of things can cause it to not immediately provide a green match. One is obviously dollar amount, especially if there are multiple transactions of the same amount; the other is dating. I do not know how much difference is in the algorithm but I have seen a 5 day difference show a gray instead of green.

No, the transactions match in amount and check number.  Customer support said there is a system glitch.  It's extremely inconvenient b/c to double check someone else's entry before matching now you have to get out of review, go into the register, make sure it's put in right, then go back to review and manually match.

We have an open investigation (INV-0435) when finding the match transaction in QBO. Since you've already called, rest assured, you're already added on our notification list. There isn't a current time frame for when the investigation will be closed, but that will automatically inform you once updates are available.
