We have a senior officer who periodically comes in to reconcile bank accounts. Is there a way for me to reconcile offline (in Excel) if he hasn't done the rec in QBO yet?

Haven't been done since May 2023 and I'd like keep the recs up to date offline until he has done so.

Thank you for reaching out to the Community, Jack.

Yes, you can do a reconciliation offline through Excel to keep your records up to date. You can export them so you can have a copy of your transactions.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Gear icon, then select Chart of accounts.

  2. Look for the account you want to reconcile, then click View register.

  3. Click the export icon beside the gear icon.

In this way, you can get a copy by exporting your transactions to an excel file.
