What happened to the ability to have "Products & Services" located in the new "Bookmarks" section? I had it there prior but today it is no longer an option in the list?

I'm happy to help you add Products and Services to your Bookmarks list again. I'm including some steps below to walk you through the process. 

 

  1. Click on the pencil icon next to Bookmarks. 
  2. In the search bar, type in Products & Services
  3. Choose Products & Services from the list. 
  4. Hit Save. Then you should see listed under your Bookmarks again.

Thanks for the tutorial however "Products and services is not in the list of available bookmarks  any more, or at least on my copy. Any additional suggestions as to how to get this back?

I'm here to help you get back the Products & services to your Bookmark tab.

 

To start, let's perform some troubleshooting steps to determine if this is a browser-related issue. The initial step is to access your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account via incognito mode. This does not store cache files that may cause odd behaviors when running web-based programs. Below are the shortcut keys you can use:

 

  • Google Chrome: press Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Microsoft Edge: press Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Safari: press Command + Shift + N

 

Then, add the Product & services. If this works, clear the cache of your regular browser to eliminate piled-up data. If the issue persists, you can use another supported browser or device. It might be that the current one you're using has a temporary issue with the program.

Thanks for the response. Here is where we are:

1. I use Edge generally to log-in as I find it more reliable than Google

2. I ran QB in incognito in Edge and the option for Products is not in the list of available menu items to select.

3. I ran QB in incognito in Chrome and the option for Products is not in the list of available menu items to select.

4. I ran QB in incognito in Firefox ( first time using Firefox) and the option for Products is not in the list of available menu items to select.

There is something else going on here. I am guessing some update to the software and there was a coding change that eliminated the Products & Services from the list of available menu items. I would very much like it back. It is probably the most used menu item.
