This setup is designed to streamline the reconciliation process in QuickBooks Online (QBO), Beth. Let me clarify a few points about the pre-checked marks you encounter during reconciliation.

To begin, it’s important to note that the feature to disable these pre-checked marks is unavailable since this is working as designed. It's intended to simplify the reconciliation process by identifying transactions that QuickBooks believes have already been cleared by the bank.

Moreover, transactions might automatically appear as pre-checked during the reconciliation if they correspond to the dates and/or amounts recorded by QuickBooks and the data from your imported bank statement. If you find any transactions pre-checked that shouldn't be, you'll have to manually uncheck them during the reconciliation process.

If this is your first time reconciling and you notice the beginning balance is incorrect, check this article to help you fix it: Fix issues the first time you reconcile an account in QBO.

I'll also add this guide if your bank statement at the end of a reconciliation doesn't match: Fix issues at the end of a reconciliation in QBO.

You can tag me in the comment section if you have any other concerns about reconciliation. I'll be around to further assist you.
