When I review new transactions, I edit my business ones to add a description. After saving, almost always, whatever I wrote in the description is gone. Why is this?

Hello there, @rio9.

Let's access your QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) via a private or incognito window. That way, we can check if this a cache related issue.

Stored cache from your browser can affect the views and performance of your QBSE account. Here are the keyboard shortcuts to open a private or incognito window:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Internet Explorer: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Command + Option + P

If you're able to save the description via a private or incognito window, then we'll have to clear your regular browser cache. This will prevents unusual behavior from the browser.

If the issue persists, I recommend using another supported browser. This way, we can check if this is a browser integrated issue.

Let me know if you have any other concerns. I'm always here to help.
