You can try opening your QuickBooks account using an incognito or private window. It could be that the stored cache and cookies in the browser are the root cause of this strange behavior. Here are the shortcut keys:
Once you're in, enter a bank deposit again. If you're now able to select an income account, go back to your regular browser and then clear its cache to enhance your browsing experience. You can also switch to other supported browsers as an alternative.
