Hello - I need input. Our employer decided to move money from our regular business checking account into an investment CD. I don' t think I would record it as an expense - the business still has the money, just in a different style account. How do I record this transfer in QB? Would I assign a line item of Retained Earnings (Equity)? Or "Undeposited funds" with type of Current/Asset? Or is there a better line-item option that I should create? What category type should I apply? Thank you!
