I'll be sharing some information to make sure your bank account can connect to QuickBooks Online. In QuickBooks, you can connect as many accounts as you need to automatically download your bank transactions.
However, there are several reasons why you can't connect to or locate your bank when you search for it:
- Your bank doesn't connect to all types of accounts, such as personal accounts vs. business accounts
- Your bank has multiple names on our list
- Your bank isn't a participating financial institution
However, If you have tried all the options matching your bank's name and still can't connect, I suggest requesting support from your bank. Please follow the steps below.
- Go to the Banking menu.
- Select Add account.
- Search for the name of your financial institution. If QuickBooks is unable to find your bank, you will get the message, "Hmm, we can’t find [name of the bank you entered] in our list of supported banks," and you will be presented with helpful tips to try and locate your bank account.
- If you’re still unable to find your bank, select Request support for your bank.
- Enter your bank's web address (URL) in the field provided, then select Request.

In the meantime, you can manually upload the bank transactions into QuickBooks Online using CSV files. You can click on this article on how to perform the steps: Manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online. After that, transactions will add to your Online banking.
