SUMMER SAVINGS 90% OFF QuickBooks for 3 months* Ends June 27
Buy nowEvery month there's a new issue, new update, or new interface that makes working in QuickBooks Online increasingly more difficult. The error of the month this month, is when uploading a .csv file for manual entry, I'm hit with the error, "We can't upload everything from your file. Some info may be missing from your file. Double-check that your file is complete and try uploading again." Problem is, I've uploaded the same files, from the same bank, using the exact setup for years and this issue just randomly started happening. Last month, I was able to work around this by using Chrome instead of the QBO app, but now this month, it doesn't work. I have bookkeepers who aren't allowed to access client's bank accounts and I have to upload files for them to enter. I swear QuickBooks/Intuit absolutely hates their users and every time they try to make something "better," it ends up 500x worse. I am sick and tired of these errors, updates, and continuous "enhancements," that do nothing but make the lives of everyone much more difficult. For being such a big company you'd think they'd have common sense, but clearly the developers, support team, and all the staff have a combined IQ of 50 and enjoy ruining what used to be a pretty good software.
I acknowledge the challenges you're encountering with uploading the CSV file from your bank, Shawn. It's perfectly reasonable to feel frustrated, especially when these disruptions hinder the smooth operation of tasks you've managed seamlessly for years. Rest assured, we are committed to addressing these issues and enhancing your experience with our platform.
This error may occur if the CSV file's format is incorrect or if the template does not fulfil the specified requirements. Please note that the maximum file size allowed is 350 KB.
Missing information can result in several factors, including an interrupted connection. Connection faults during the download process may prevent some transactions from being successfully downloaded. Moreover, there are specific considerations to keep in mind when importing your bank transactions.

If you follow the format and the issue persists, and since you successfully uploaded your bank transactions last month using Chrome. Let's consider troubleshooting your browser. While cache can speed up browsing, an excessive buildup can cause unexpected behaviors. A good starting point is to use a private browser, as it does not retain cache. If necessary, we can clear the cache.
If you need help in categorizing your entries to avoid double transactions, refer to this article: Categorize online bank transactions in QuickBooks Online.

With all due respect, this isn't helpful at all.
The file size is 1KB - this issue happens if it's 1KB or 200KB and has been ongoing since last month.
Files are all in .csv. No blank lines present. All labels are formatted to align with QuickBooks Online directly (Date, Description, Amount), I actually change these to match directly to avoid these issues. No zeros. No special characters. Dates are formatted correctly and consistently.
I used Chrome to work around the issue last month, the issue is in Chrome, Edge, and the QBO app itself. It doesn't matter where or how, it doesn't work.
But, while you're here, is there a reason why Intuit decides to roll out updates so consistently changing the workspace so much that random issues like this always come up? I feel like a good product doesn't need to be reworked every other month - this software was so good when my firm first moved here, and with every update, it continues to go downhill and become less and less user friendly. Just curious, not trying to be rude.
