Accounting & Finance Show LA

Seth David's talk was excellent! I attended the show even though I'm not an accountant but instead am a small business consultant. I've taken plenty of accounting, finance, QB, econ classes so I figured I wouldn't be totally in the dark. Turned out I learned a lot, got to have lunch with one of the speakers (who is a friend/biz associate), and finally met several people I've only known online up until now. Great event!

I am so glad that you got the chance to go to the show, I only wish I would have had the chance to meet you in person too. (Or did we meet and I am being a dork?) I was the guy standing and recording Seth's presentation.

Like you, this event provided me the opportunity to meet many of the online personalities that I have been watching for so long.  What was even more amazing than the show was the private after party that Seth David and Mariette Martinez hosted at Camino Financial.  To be surrounded by a group of individuals that all shared the belief that together we all succeed, left me smiling from ear to ear.  It was one of the first times I really felt that I was in a room full of my peers.

Man, that night recharged my batteries enough to last through the end of the year!

Oh yeah and BTW.... my background is more in business management, and economics was my favorite subject in school so you are always welcome in my book! Any chance your still in the Ventura | Santa Barbara area? If so, send me a private message we are located in Ventura, Ca.

@ParkwayInc, no we didn't meet but I saw you recording Seth! Mariette invited me to the afterparty but I couldn't make it. Wish I had been there. I'm in the LA area now though I'm from SB and get up there from time to time. :-)
