Adding a percentage column in an estimate

Good day community,

We want to update our Estimate template with an extra column that actually shows the amount of discount given on a certain product. On each line entered we can choose a product and in the 'costs/price' column we can choose a percentage of the full price, which will return in that column the net price. Behind that we want to insert a column that actually shows the percentage given. Could also be a column in which the full price is given.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance,

Esther

Adding a percentage column in an estimate

Welcome to the Community, Esther MMIEU.

You can customize estimate templates from your Templates screen.

Here's how:

  1. In the top menu bar, go to Lists, then Templates.
  2. Specify which type of form you're customizing.
  3. From your form, access the Formatting tab, then Manage Templates.
  4. Choose a template to preview and click its Copy option to create a new template or hit OK to edit your existing one.
  5. Press Additional Customization to add or remove items from the template's header, columns, or footer areas.
  6. When you're finished, click OK.
  7. Hit Print Preview to see your form. If everything looks good, press Close.
  8. Select OK.

I've also included a detailed resource about customizing estimate templates which may come in handy moving forward: Use & customize form templates

I'll be here to help if there's any additional questions. Have a wonderful Thursday!
