Using the mobile app is a convenient way of recording transactions, especially if you're frequently on the move, JasonC3. It provides an accessible way to manage your business finances while you're out and about.
Currently, the Projects functionality is not available in the app. As a result, creating estimates directly from the Projects menu is also not possible at this time.
Check out this article for a comprehensive overview of the features available in the mobile app: Compare Mobile App Features.
When it comes to looking for a third-party app, the best way of doing it is through the Apps menu in QBO. Follow these steps if you haven't tried it yet:
- Go to the Apps menu and proceed to the Find apps tab.
- Type in a keyword or click the drop-down list beside Browse categories.
- Select a related category.
We also recognize the potential benefits of having this feature in the mobile app. I'd recommend providing feedback to our engineering team about this. Follow the steps in this article on how to do it in your account: How Do I Submit Feedback?
Your comments will be shared with the appropriate team for review as part of that process. This helps them understand which features would be most useful.
In the meantime, you can continue logging in to the web version of QBO to create project estimates.
