capturing receipts with information

Receipt managment in QB desktop app worked perfectly once and captured all the information but now does not. Just takes picture. Anyone else having this issue? Tech support does not help

As per checking, we currently have an ongoing investigation relating to receipt management not processing in your desktop file. Please know that our engineers are already aware of this issue and are implementing measures to provide a timely resolution.

 

With that, I recommend contacting our QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) Support Team again to have your account information added to the list of affected users. This way, you'll receive updates regarding the status of the investigation and be notified when more information becomes available. Here's how to reach them:

 

  1. In QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT), click Help.
  2. Choose QuickBooks Desktop Help or press F1 on your keyboard.
  3. Click the Contact Us button in the Have a Question? window.
  4. Enter your concern in the description box and select Continue.
  5. Choose either Chat with us or Have us call you.

 

In the meantime, you may want to consider emailing images of your receipts to your desktop company file, feel free to visit this guide: Upload receipts to QuickBooks Desktop Pro Plus, Premier Plus, or Enterprise.
