Join nowLooking for someone that has successfully used cData to export data from Quickbooks Enterprise to use with Power BI. We are having numerous issues getting it to 1) Extract all of the data, 2) Not Error out while extracting data, and 3) Pieces together the tables needed to create simple reports such as a transaction list by P&L account (would include invoices, credits, journal entries, etc).
Let me route you to the right support to resolve the cData exporting issue, @nbarston.
To get assistance with your concern, you can contact cData's support team. They have the necessary tools and resources to identify the root cause of the problem. Please note that the data downloaded in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) depends on what the third-party app shares with us.
Additionally, here's an article you can use as a guide when importing and exporting information with QBDT: Import and export data in QuickBooks Desktop.
Just in case you need to transfer lists from an old company file to a new one, you can check out this article for further help: Export lists from the old company file into a new data file.
If there's anything else I can help you with besides exporting data to QBDT with cData, feel free to add a reply below. I'll be there to assist you. Stay safe!
If you still prefer to use QB Desktop, I would recommend to use another BI app. You don't need any connector to sync them.
