How can I transfer my chart of accounts movements to recurring transactions?

Hello!  it is the first time using Quickbooks, which my client asked me for support to upload some transactions, but when registering the expenses, the system only recorded them in the chart of accounts and I needed to upload them to recurring transactions. So, my question is... Will there be a way to transfer that information to the accounts recurring transactions? or is there another way they can be loaded?
Or what is the correct way to register correctly?

How can I transfer my chart of accounts movements to recurring transactions?

Welcome to the Community, and thank you for choosing QuickBooks Online (QBO) for your businessIsaac. Let me share some insights about transferring transactions from the Chart of Accounts to a recurring template.

The option to move expense transactions from the Chart of Accounts to the recurring transaction is unavailable. However, you can create a recurring template with the same info as your expense transaction.

Alternatively, you can create a recurring template from your expense transaction in your Chart of Accounts.

Here's how:

  1. Go to Chart of Accounts.
  2. Look for the expense transaction.
  3. Select View register and then click Edit.
  4. Click Make recurring.
  5. Fill in the necessary details and select Save template.

Moreover, here's an article that will help you manage your recurring transactions in QuickBooks Online. It shows a list of these transactions along with the accounts they're linked to: Review your recurring transactions in QuickBooks Online.

Feel free to come back if you have other concerns about creating recurring templates or other QuickBooks-related inquiries. The Community will always be ready to lend you a hand. Stay safe.
