Inventory tags in Enterprise Retail

We have a retail jewelry store, using QB Enterprise 24 and would like to print inventory tags with barcodes. We would like to print on dumbell tags using our Dymo Labelwriter. My main issue is that I cannot find a way to create the tag itself. There are limited mailing label options but I cannot add another (Avery 30299 is what we use) and I don't see where to designate what fields should be printed.

We've used Enterprise for over 10 years and it has some great features which we'd like to incorporate - like barcoding - but we seem to constantly run into some logjam which prevents us from utilizing it to its full potential. I'm sure we aren't the only user that has run into this. Any help is appreciated.

Inventory tags in Enterprise Retail

I want to ensure this is taken care of, @jbacher. Let me share some insights about the inventory tags feature in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT).

For now, the option to create inventory tags is currently unavailable in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) Enterprise. However, QuickBooks has a handy feature that enables you to search for an app that is tailored to your requirements. You'll want to check for a third-party application that can help you with this one.

At present, it is not possible to create inventory tags in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) Enterprise. However, QuickBooks provides a useful feature that allows you to look for an application that is specifically tailored to meet your needs. You can check for a third-party app that can assist you with this task.

It's important to note that using third-party apps is not the sole option. I will guide you to our QuickBooks Desktop App Store, where you can select the perfect third-party application.

Proceed with the following steps:

  1. Go to the QuickBooks App Store.
  2. From the QuickBooks Compatibility section, choose the QuickBooks Desktop version you're using.
  3. Type in the clue word of the specific app you're looking for in the Search field and click the magnifying glass to search.
  4. Install the 3rd party apps and follow the on-screen instructions.

I've also added this article where you can find helpful articles, video tutorials, and more on managing your QuickBooks account: Learn QuickBooks.

Inventory tags in Enterprise Retail

@jbacher

I don't believe that's an option in Enterprise because it's not a point-of-sale system.  QB Point of Sale, which was recently discontinued, had the option to print jewelry tags.  Lightspeed POS does as well.  There are probably others.
