I can't believe more people haven't commented on how incredibly stupid the update to the graphs is.  Literally, a monthly graph of sales is USELESS with one data point.  Who on earth thought that this was a smart update to a sales graph?  Literally no one using this feature or any business person would ever suggest that this change to the graphs was intelligent.  I've spent thirty years in technology and software development and this is literally one of the most bone-headed changes to functional code I've ever seen. PUT IT BACK.  A "month to date" graph should NEVER show one data point when it's meant to show daily data.  

And yes to the auto-bots who moderate this, I have reported it.  However, something this dumb should never have been done in the first place, so reporting it isn't the real problem.  

On top of the "Step-backwards" GUI update we didn't need or want, even more ads have been baked in. 

I hate the new update so much I canceled my QBO renewal. I have 7 months to find an alternative, which i am determined to and will put considerable resources into replacing Intuit. 

QB seems to be the norm, so I keep paying the higher rates -- and complaining when the engineers make the software worse in various ways.

I'm surprised a better piece of software doesn't exist yet.

I have been using QBO since it was released back in 2008, I believe. I have gone through many updates. Most of which were hugely beneficial. This latest update has totally messed up the UI with what appears to be an attempt at grabbing more business while alienating long term customers. I can navigate around it as a power user but I would never recommend it to a small business. I used to be a big promoter of QBO but not I advise my clients to stay away. 

Quickbooks has gotten worse. We were forced to update to the latest version and it completely changed Shipping Manager. Shipping Manager is absolutely terrible now. It doesn't save account numbers like it did before and requires a phone number for every shipment. What's worse is that my Shipping Manager won't even work and QB team can't even figure out why. It's definitely a QB internal bug and glitch... This makes it really frustrating to use. 

A major interface change and update at year-end for accounting software? Somebody thought that was a good idea?  I can’t believe this product is on the market.  And at that price!!  Pushed out the door too quickly. (Pull down for months gives you to April. Click April to get next 4 months then keep at it until you find November).  Reports:  from tech support - download info to excel and design the report yourself really??!!  How much am I paying to write my own reports?  Quickbooks reports are clunky and often just screen shots. 
If you call tech support they will make you download a share software to look at your screen.  They don’t have the program themselves in front of them.  (Side note - someone downloaded share software last year and ordered Amazon Home Depot gift cards $2500 worth).  Not safe to share.  Why go I need to explain how the software works to the new tech support people?   They received very little training.  I have been given 3 months to find another accounting software program.
