The error occurs because UPS no longer supports the current Shipping Manager software in QuickBooks, Outtuit. With this, you'll need to download the latest shipping data so you can set up with the new shipping manager.
To begin, let's update QuickBooks Desktop to its latest release to use the new shipping features. After that, you can download your shipping-related data before moving to the new experience.
Here's how:
- Go to File, then select Shipping.
- Choose the carrier you want to download shipment details for and select Track or Cancel a Shipment.
- Select the date range for which you want to download the shipping data.
- Click Report, then Print.
- In the print preview window, select Save as PDF as your destination or printer.
- Select a location on your computer to save the PDF file and click Save.
- Repeat these steps for each carrier (FedEx, UPS, and USPS) and any additional date ranges to create a complete record of your shipping history.
Once you've downloaded your latest shipping data, set up the new Shipping Manager to continue shipping from QuickBooks.
