Yes, you can add the same multiple products to your inventory. To avoid duplications, add some special characters to the product names also with the description details. Please note when creating an Invoice form, you'll have to manage the description details to identify and to recognize easily the product you've created.
Since you're using QuickBooks Essentials, the option to add a product inventory is available on Plus and Advanced subscriptions only. If you want this feature, I suggest upgrading to the right plan to support your needs.
On the other hand, we don't have alternative ways to add products quickly and populate new numbers. However, you can import products and services to save time.
