Hi,

I have recently started tagging my purchase invoices in qbo with the hope that it would save me the bother of having to export reports to excel in order to ascertain that my margins per product line are correct for vat return purposes.

However when I pull down a report using a specific tag it only lists the associated invoices along with the vat inclusive ammount along with gross total of all invoices pulled down. How do I get each nett total?

Ps I'm a very exasperated ex QB2001 user who rues the day I migrated to qbo.

Thanks for bringing this up in the Community space, ropemckenna.

Currently, QuickBooks Online doesn't provide a direct way to include the net total for each invoice when pulling down a report using a specific tag.

However, you can export the reports to Excel and perform manual calculations to determine the net total for each invoice.

Additionally, you can customize your reports and save them with their current customization settings through memorizing. For more details, refer to this article: Memorize reports in QuickBooks Online.

Should you have any other concerns besides including the net total for each invoice when opening reports, feel free to leave a reply. We're always eager to help.
