Yes, there's a way to see the products in all your invoices by running the Sales by Product/Service Detail report. Here's how:

  1. Click the Report tab on the left panel.
  2. In the search field, type in Sales by Product/Service Detail and click it.
  3. Tap the Report period dropdown, and select Custom. Then, enter the date range of the invoice you want to show in the report.
  4. You can also click Customize to filter and show details you want to view in the report.
  5. Click Run report.

Once done, you can save a copy by clicking the Print or Export tab in the report. We can use the copy of that report as a guide to batch-delete an invoice with the same product category since this section will never show in the invoice lists.

To start, look for the invoices with the same product category, and tick the box beside it. You can follow the steps below:

  1. Go to Sales.
  2. Choose Invoices.
  3. Using the copy of the report, look for the invoices with the same product category and tick the box beside it.
  4. Once done, click the Batch actions dropdown.
  5. Pick Delete.

Take note, that some of your invoices might have multiple items that may affect the overall balance of your transactions once deleted. So be sure to double-check it.

You might want to keep track of your QuickBooks activities and edit some mistakes, you can read this article: Use the audit log in QuickBooks Online.

For additional questions about managing your invoices, never hesitate to come back here. Have a good one.

Thank you that helps! I was figuring out how to directly show the product categories in the list of invoices under Sales tab, but either way, this also helps a lot.
