Buy nowFor the 1st time ever, QB in Nov 22 on a payroll transcaction started charging me $10 labeled expense for state processing fee for Nov 22. Asked on chat and only anwser given was check with your state agency. You cannot just charge fees to your assisted payroll customers and not be able to explain and put burden of finding the explanation on the customer. Totally unacceptable
Hello there, Cham2526.
I'm here to ensure the issue with the charge is taken care of.
To verify the $10 charge, I'd suggest reaching out to our payroll team. One of our agents has the tools to check your account in a more secure environment. Here's how to contact them:
Also, if you have questions about processing payroll taxes, you can check this page: Pay and file taxes.

Hello Adrian
Thank you for the follow up. So is what your suggesting is to go through the process of contacting QB again, selecting a live person who will review my payroll account and tell me why Im being charged now in Nov 2022 for a Texas State Payroll transaction fee of $10. I ask because I spent over an hour with two reps on the QB chat feature through payroll to get where Im at now.
