QBO can track every GL account required. (you have to add them to your Chart of Accounts) You will use Products/Services to post income in sales receipts although expenses can go directly against accounts.
Two sources to consult on required accounts and how to post in ANY accounting system.
First is the National Independent Dealers Association https://www.niada.com/ you may already be a member but if not you should join.
The other is the GM Financial manual for dealers. It has been around for almost 100 years and a printed book might still be found.
