Currently, we've rolled out an update about the employee's ability to change their Workforce information like direct deposit and address. I understand it's benefits to minimize your workload as an admin.
In the meantime, if you want to change employee details, you can go to the worker's profile. This way, you'll be able to update their details. You can follow the steps from this article: Edit or change employee info in payroll. Make sure to edit the address in the Personal info tab and the direct deposit details in the Payment method tab.

When will the update roll out?
This update is still not working and its been nearly a year! Please advise on when we can expect employees to be able to change their banking information.

However, we are unable to provide an exact timeframe for when a specific feature will be available in QuickBooks Online.
Software development timelines can vary depending on various factors such as prioritization, testing, and implementation. It's best to stay updated with official announcements from QuickBooks for the most accurate and up-to-date information regarding feature releases by visiting our Firm of the Future website.
In the meantime, you can follow the recommended steps provided by my colleague in the previous reply on updating your employee's information.
Moreover, you can utilize the payroll reporting features in QBO. These reports allow you to manage payroll taxes and employee expenses more effectively.
