Can I delete products after they were added on Products and Services tab?

Happy to connect with you again, @BBCafe10. We hope you find everything you need and that you enjoy your experience!

You can consider using a third-party app from QBO. Here are the steps if you wish to browse for a third-party app:

  1. Access your QuickBooks Online company.
  2. On the left navigational bar, go to the Apps tab.
  3. In the search bar, type "deleter tool" as your keyword.
  4. Once you find the app that best suits your business needs, click the app.
  5. Click the Get app now button.

You can visit the Intuit App store should you want to import data using third-party applications.

Moreover, I'll also share this link where you can search articles that can serve as your reference to guide you in managing your QBO account: QuickBooks Online Help Articles.

Can I delete products after they were added on Products and Services tab?

Hello there, BBCafe10.

I'm here to share more information about removing items on the Products and Services page.

The option to delete items is unavailable however, you can deactivate them. Doing so, they will be removed from the list, but the system still keeps a record of them.

Here's how to deactivate:

  1. From the Sales tab, select Product and services.
  2. Locate the items.
  3. Under ACTION, click the drop-down.
  4. Select Make inactive.
  5. Click Yes.

Keep me posted whenever you have concerns with tracking inventories.

Explore this one. You can delete any list item as long as there is no data associated with it.

As an additional option, use a backup restore app before connecting the apps.
